Bobbie Seale-Cobiskey - Disabilities, Aging, and Addictions Specialist Mentor Bobbie Seale-Cobiskey experienced Certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Adaptive Yoga Teacher and Owner of Yogability™ International. Bobbie’s classes reach out to specialized populations including Chair Yoga for older adults, people with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, Adaptive Yoga for people living with a wide range of mobility challenges and those in recovery from addictions. In 2018, Bobbie participated as the Yoga Therapist for a pilot study in ICORD'S Physical Activity Research Centre (PARC) at the Blusson Spinal Cord Center in Vancouver, British Columbia. The research was a pilot study focused on evaluating the efficacy of Therapeutic Adaptive Yoga for individuals living with a spinal cord injury (SCI). Bobbie graduated from Yoga Therapy International with Maggie Reagh in 2013. Yoga Therapy International recently became one of the first accredited programs in the world with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). She completed the RYT 200-500 and 1000 hour requirements that included her dream and great honour of studying at Yoga Raksanam in Chennai, India with senior teachers D.V.
